The Provincial Board of South Cotabato is set to deliberate on Section 22 of the Envi Code next week. It (ban on open pit mining) faces the peril of being lifted to give way for the full operation of the SMI Gold Copper Tampakan Project. We earnestly appeal to the provincial board of South Cotabato to hear the cry of the earth and the poor. Please do not take the future away from our youth. Let us not be selfish and greedy. Tampakan belongs to Mindanao!
